The Normann Copenhagen Swell Three Seater Sofa combines quality upholstery with a playful pleasure.
It has a curvaceous profile consisting of a rounded padded backrest and seat and two curvy armrests, it is expertly crafted from high quality, durable materials. The name Swell is a reference to rising, baking bread, the sofa has the appearance of almost soft dough. Also available in a more compact two seater version.
Material: Solid wooden plywood frame with Nozaq springs and 38 cold foam on the seat, back and armrests. Over this, is a layer of supersoft S25 cold foam which ensures optimal comfort. The legs are made of black painted ash.

Jonas Wagell started studying Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at Konstfack University College, where he graduated with in 2007. Today he works with architecture and design. His ambition is to create simple, honest products that have a strong character, warmth and offer humour and colour. Fascinated by minimalism but feeling it lacked something personal he describes his work as "expressive minimalism". He believes it is important that design has a connection to local traditions and heritage without risking being outdated with time. He has designed the Swell range of sofas for Normann Copenhagen.
