    COVID-19 / Brexit Update

    The showroom is currently only open for pre-arranged appointments so if you want to arrange one please contact us and we will be more than happy to arrange a suitable day and time.

    Due to the pandemic, some of our suppliers are experiencing delays in production and shipping on products. Please be aware that this will affect order times.

    Another issue is the combination of Brexit related paperwork and backlogs at ports causing production delays that are resulting in some inbound delays from suppliers. The irregularity of these delays mean that we’re not always able to update product listing lead times before your order is placed but we will be in touch to let you know of any delays as soon as we’re made aware of them.

    For those customers who are waiting for delivery of their made to order items, please rest assured, our suppliers and delivery partners are working around the clock to deliver your items to us at the earliest opportunity. We understand that delays can be incredibly frustrating and would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this causes.

    With regards to Brexit costs there is no extra costs for the customer than the cost quoted on the website, that is your final buying price, you will not be asked to pay any customs charges. Our supply chains are at full capacity and we are experiencing delays with some deliveries from Europe and leadtimes are more extended than some of those shown online, it is something out of our control unfortunately. If you need a product for a given date please contact us before ordering and we will do our best to let you have the most accurate delivery times.

     

    Deliveries

    UK Orders Furniture Over £1500.00 - Free Delivery, Assembly and Removal of Packaging (Mainland UK)

    Large Furniture orders over £1500.00 are handled by our delivery company Freight Express. It includes a two-man delivery teams who will place your item/s in the room of your choice, unpack and assemble (if necessary, except String system as it needs fitting to the wall) and then remove and recycle any packaging. We do not fix or secure anything to wall's or ceilings. Wardrobes and certain other larger items may incur assembly costs dependent on size and location, please ring and ask a member of staff before ordering 01423 524777

    The dedicated delivery company will contact you prior to delivery to arrange a day with a 2 hour time slot that is suitable for you to take the delivery. Before the delivery company get in touch one of our staff members will speak to you to let you know that your item is ready, either by E-mail or telephone. Your delivery in normal circumstances will be delivered to you within 14 working days of us getting in touch with you.

    UK Orders Furniture Under £1500.00 - Free Delivery (Mainland UK)

    * Furniture orders under £1500.00 will be either delivered by DPD Local or Able Couriers if they are of a suitable size. This courier service is a 9:00 am until 5:00 pm service on a given day (Monday to Friday) but the delivery can be tracked and an hour timeslot will be given. Saturday deliveries are an extra £25.00 We don't offer assembly or to take away packaging with this free service.

    ** If the item(s) you have ordered are too large for the standard courier service either our in-house delivery team Freight Express or Millfield Haulage (Pallet Service) will deliver. With Freight Express you will be contacted prior to arrange a suitable time for you to receive the item(s). If the customer contacts us prior to the delivery we can arrange for packaging to be taken away and the item assembled, this may incur a cost which we will quote prior to delivering. The free delivery service is for Ground Floor only so do enquire if this is not the case for your delivery. With Millfield Haulage this is a one-man pallet service and they may need assistance from the customer.

    Your Delivery

    Please inspect the goods thoroughly before accepting delivery and providing a signature for receipt. If there is any damage or any missing items, please inform the showroom on 01423 524777 within 24 hours. In the unlikely event of damage we need the customer to take detailed photos of the damage and also pictures of the packaging in order for us to process your claim. If you don't do this we may not be able to process your claim.

    Please note: During August and December European factories close. Some items ordered around these times will be subject to an additional 2 to 3 week delivery time.

    Lights - Free Delivery (Mainland UK)

    All lights will be delivered free of charge by either APC Couriers or DPD Local. This courier service is a 9:00 am until 5:00 pm service on a given day (Monday to Friday) but the delivery can be tracked and an hour timeslot will be given. Saturday deliveries are an extra £25.00. Some lights that are too large or are ordered in bulk will be delivered by Freight Express. We offer no light fitting service.

    Deliveries outside the UK

    Please contact us for deliveries outside of the UK. We can arrange this but there will be a cost. To contact us click here.

    Delivery Times

    Delivery times vary between suppliers but can be anywhere from 1 to 16 weeks dependent on supplier and product. We try to indicate on each item delivery times but these are guidelines and an expected delivery time will be given to you once the order has been placed, normally within 10 days. We do carry some items in stock which will be delivered within 3 working days in normal circumstances.
