The simple answer is that we only want to offer furniture we truly believe in.
Every collection on our website has been chosen because it offers something special, whether that's exceptional craftsmanship, innovative design or a story worth telling. We spend a lot of time getting to know the brands we work with because we believe understanding the history behind a piece makes owning it even more rewarding.
One of the things we enjoy most is learning about the people who designed these pieces and the craftsmanship that goes into making them.
That's why we've started creating Design Icon guides and journal articles alongside our collections. We want to make it easier to understand why the Series 7 Chair became a design icon, how Poul Kjærholm approached furniture design or why a particular chair has remained in production for over half a century.
