The famed designer Hans J. Wegner has created another stand out piece for Carl Hansen.
Their collaboration goes back over 70 years. The Mama Bear CH78 chair was first introduced in 1954, the sculptural chair is a fusion of beautiful identity, functionality and minimalist aesthetic that is still relevant today. The CH78 tempts the user with a combination of organic shapes and undulating curves, whilst the angled legs and armrests give the chair its sense of relaxation. The chair is delicately crafted from solid oak and upholstered in Kvadrat Fiord fabric in a collection of autumnal hues. The CH78 demonstrates faultless design and of course provides the utmost comfort.
Material: Legs and armrest are made from solid soaped oak. Seat and back are made from solid beech and foam. Upholstered in Kvadrat Fiord 2 fabric (92% new wool worsted 8% nylon) in a variety of colours. Neck Pillow included.
