Designed by Hans J. Wegner, the CH58 Counter Stool demonstrates the enduring relevance of Wegner’s timeless approach to form and function.
Though originally designed decades ago, its refined silhouette and thoughtful detailing remain perfectly suited to contemporary kitchens, bars, and hospitality spaces. Defined by gently angled legs and a softly upholstered circular seat, the stool offers both visual lightness and exceptional comfort, creating an inviting setting for relaxed dining and conversation. A circular stainless steel footrest connects the four legs beneath the seat, providing practical support while reinforcing the stool’s elegant architectural structure. As with many of Wegner’s designs, the craftsmanship lies in the subtle refinement of proportion and construction.
The legs are carefully shaped to be strongest where they meet the steel ring, tapering gracefully toward both the floor and the seat to create the distinctive lightness associated with Wegner’s work. Available in two heights, the CH58 is designed for kitchen counters, while the CH56 suits higher bar settings. A range of material and upholstery options allows the stool to integrate effortlessly into both residential and commercial interiors.
