With recycled HAL RE, Jasper Morrison has created a reinterpretation of the multi-functional shell chair and a varied chair range with a distinctly contemporary appearance. HAL RE is a very comfortable chair which help's facilitate dynamic, ergonomic seating.
The selection of bases and shell colours opens up a wide range of choices as well. Combining the chair with the matching HAL Table, which was developed at the same time, is also an option. HAL can be used in all kinds of environments – in the office, as well as in public spaces and in the home. The Hal collection also enjoys extremely green credentials. Being accredited with the 'Greenguard' environmental label Hal has LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) accreditation. What's more, its materials can also be broken down for recycling.

Known for thinking outside the box, Jasper Morrison is one of the most successful industrial designers of the past few decades. Together with his colleague Naoto Fukasawa, he defined the term 'super normal', which in his opinion answers the question of what 'good design' should really be.
In his work, he strives to create good examples of understated, useful and responsible design. His designs are represented in New York's Museum of Modern Art and other prominent museum collections around the world.
One of our favourites, the Glo Ball collection is a piece of classic 90s design that feels current today and his collections for Vitra include the Vitra HAL Ply Chair.
