Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll wanted to design a sofa that would provide the utmost comfort within a clearly defined architectural framework.
With this vision in mind, they designed the &Traditon Inland sofa, a low-form, deep sofa with high arms, trying to make comfort the forefront of the design. The polished aluminum or warm black steel-footed base gives the sofa the sense of it floating. This is the AV42 Chaise longue which offers the pinnacle in comfort and style.
Material: The plywood frame is upholstered with foam and a textile cover. The upholstered cushions are made from HR foam with cushions filled with silicone fibres, which are attached to the frame with velcro. The armrests are made from steel wrapped in hard foam and attached to the frame using a bolt connection. The legs are made from cast aluminium which is either polished or powder-coated.
