The &Tradition Inland AV42 Chaise Longue Sofa by Anderssen & Voll is designed around generous, laid-back comfort. Its deep seat, high arms and extended chaise create an inviting place to stretch out, while the low, clearly defined form gives the sofa a strong yet understated presence.
The chaise arrangement measures 280cm wide by 156cm deep, providing plenty of space to relax without losing the refined character of the Inland collection.
A combination of softly upholstered surfaces and the sofa’s elevated base gives the design a distinctive balance of comfort and lightness, with the legs creating the impression that the sofa is gently floating above the floor. Underneath, a plywood frame is upholstered with foam and textile, while HR foam cushions filled with silicone fibres provide a comfortable, supportive seat and back. The steel armrests are wrapped in hard foam, and cast aluminium legs are available in either a polished or powder-coated finish. With a choice of upholstery, the AV42 can be tailored to suit a wide range of contemporary interiors.
Material: The plywood frame is upholstered with foam and a textile cover. The upholstered cushions are made from HR foam with cushions filled with silicone fibres, which are attached to the frame with velcro. The armrests are made from steel wrapped in hard foam and attached to the frame using a bolt connection. The legs are made from cast aluminium which is either polished or powder-coated.
