The designer duo Hvidt & Mølgaard wanted to create a versatile piece that would adapt to its surroundings and devised this beautiful dining table in 1956. As part of the Drop Leaf series, it boasts the same curved wooden frames and easily foldable design as the lounge table. As the name suggests, this sleek table was built with a hinged section on each side that folds down from the fixed center. A versatile dining table that has been specifically crafted so it can be positioned against a wall with leaves down which works perfectly if space is at a premium. Available in solid walnut or oak.

Peter Hvidt (1916-1986) and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen (1907-1993) were pioneers of Danish mid-century design and the founders of Copenhagen-based firm Hvidt & Mølgaard. Renowned for the simplicity of their works, the duo established a simple and precise aesthetic designing countless pieces of furniture over the years, many of which became icons of the era.
