The Element Sofa range from Philippe Malouin is a modular sofa system that also comes as a standard three-seat sofa, developed from the idea of creating a fully enclosed conversation pit, or a pool for relaxing and chilling.
With a well-rounded aesthetic, this design grew from a focus on one particular element: the corners. By creating symmetrical matching corner units, which can act as ends as well as sides, and the addition of a central ottoman module, allows for the creation of a fully enclosed internal seating space - ideal for ultimate comfort, conversation and conviviality. SCP’s range of upholstery uses 100% natural and sustainable materials, this requires more skill and time, but they along with us think it is worth it.
