Cove is a circular wooden side table featuring two clean, rectangular uprights and three levels of shelving. The design uses a refined construction technique that keeps everything minimal and precise, giving it a clean, understated aesthetic that fits seamlessly into modern interiors.
The lower shelf sits on the floor, grounding the design, while the two upper shelves almost appear to float. Cove has solid timber uprights and veneered shelves, and is made in either American Oak or American Walnut. Originally introduced in 2009 to high praise, the SCP Boxed Collection challenged designers to think small—literally. The brief was to create objects that fit within a standard DHL shipping box (480 x 400 x 390mm), making them easy to carry out of a shop or ship via e-commerce. Now in 2025, SCP is bringing the Boxed Collection back with a fresh perspective. This time around, there are no limits on materials, opening the door to a broader range of designs. Established names and up-and-coming talent alike have been invited to rethink how compact, clever design fits into today’s world.
