SCP Balzac 3 Seater sofa is an iconic design, designed by British designer Matthew Hilton.
A contemporary piece with a curvy form, upholstered in beautifully soft, full-aniline leather. An design classic that offers sublime poise and balance. The Balzac armchair and ottoman by Matthew Hilton was launched by SCP in 1991. It was SCP’s very first upholstery design. Initially, the design was met with little fanfare, but within a few years its curvaceous looks, modernist sensibility and undoubted comfort had caught the design world’s imagination. It went on to become SCP’s signature piece and bestseller. The three-seat sofa is an extension of the design.
