The Normann Copenhagen Kabino range is a series of versatile and functional storage pieces from designer Simon Legald.
Kabino has an cool, urban, industrial look created in a minimalistic form with well-considered details and materials. The signature open handles of the steel doors and drawers give an integrated, seamless expression, while the ash frame adds a warmth to the design. Kabino comes in several different configurations and they can even be stacked 2 high to personalise your storage needs. This version is the large sideboard which offers plenty of usable storage space, perfect for the dining room or living area.
Simon Legald graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in the summer of 2012. His work consists of both small and large scale products. Simon’s designs are often created in a dialogue between craftsmanship and industry. He also likes to incorporate the techniques that are necessary for the structure of a product into the design by highlighting them visually.
