Normann Copenhagen's new modular sofa design Ark has gentle arches (Ark is the Danish word for arch, and best describes the curves that define this sofa), plump cushions and a slimline base offering a modern design that plays with curves and volume.
The 2 Seater Ark sofa appears almost as a sofa built solely from cushions, alluding to its soft, inviting appearance. The Ark sofa is made up of seperate modules and can be configured to your requirements. Designed by the creative Danish designer Simon Legald.

Simon Legald graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in the summer of 2012. His work consists of both small and large scale products. Simon’s designs are often created in a dialogue between craftsmanship and industry. He also likes to incorporate the techniques that are necessary for the structure of a product into the design by highlighting them visually.
