Through a meticulous design process, lasting almost two years, Muuto and Mika Tolvanen went through every curve, edge and detail over and over again resulting in a truly stunning chair. That is also why Mika Tolvanen chose the name Visu - a reference to the Finnish word for precision.
Mika Tolvanen is a renowned Finnish designer who started his own practice after graduating from Royal College of Art in 2001. Tolvanen designs products from his studio and workshop on the island of Lauttasaari outside of Helsinki, Finland.
