  • Materials: Frame -hand manufactured forms created by vertical steel wire rods welded to circular horizontal and edge-framing rod. Bright Nickel finish with clear lacquer protection or plated 18k Gold. Base features a clear plastic extrusion ring that creates a smooth bottom surface. Moulded fibreglass shell and foam cushion quilting. Cushions with latex core and zipper cover attach to seat with velcro.

                                            Warren Platner
                                            Warren Platner was an American architect and interior designer who produced a furniture collection that has proved to be a continuing icon of 1960s modernism. He studied at Cornell University, graduating in 1941 with a degree in architecture. He went on to work with legendary architects Raymond Loewy, Eero Saarinen, and I. M. Pei before opening his own architecture practice. His furniture designs for Knoll are truly unique and very collectable.
