The HAY Connect Bed, designed by Danish designer Leif Jørgensen, brings an industrial-inspired aesthetic to contemporary bedroom interiors.
Defined by its clean geometry, exposed fixings and precisely constructed steel framework, it takes a functional approach to bedroom furniture while making a confident design statement. Its pared-back appearance allows the quality of the construction and carefully considered details to take centre stage.
The frame is formed from four individual powder-coated steel sections: two side rails and two end rails that slot together and are secured with eight visible screws. Rather than concealing these connections, the design incorporates them as part of its visual identity, creating an interesting reference to traditional carpentry and craftsmanship. The result is a sturdy, streamlined bed with a distinctly modern character. Designed to accommodate a 180 × 200cm mattress, the HAY Connect Bed provides a generous sleeping space while maintaining an uncluttered profile.
Available in a selection of contemporary colours, it can be used to introduce a subtle statement or a stronger accent to the bedroom. Standard bed slats are included, while the mattress is sold separately, allowing you to select the sleeping comfort that best suits your needs.
