Bringing an architectural quality to everyday organisation, the HAY Colour Cabinet Tall with Glass Doors, designed by Muller Van Severen, offers a distinctive take on contemporary display and storage furniture.
Its vertical proportions and carefully balanced composition create an elegant alternative to traditional cupboards, making it a considered choice for interiors where both functionality and visual character are important.
The cabinet combines organically dyed, FSC-certified Valchromat panels with a robust powder-coated steel frame, celebrating the contrast between solid surfaces and transparent detailing. Its tempered reeded glass sliding doors introduce a subtle textured finish, softening the view of the interior while allowing favourite objects, books and decorative pieces to remain partially visible. Multiple internal shelves provide practical space for organising household essentials without compromising the cabinet's clean, minimalist appearance.
Designed to make use of vertical space, the HAY Colour Cabinet Tall works beautifully in living rooms, dining areas, hallways and home offices. Available in distinctive single and multi-colour finishes, it brings an expressive design element to both residential and professional interiors. Combining playful colour, thoughtful material choices and everyday practicality, this designer storage cabinet reflects Muller Van Severen's distinctive approach to modern furniture.
Muller Van Severen was founded in 2011 by Belgian artist duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. Their colourful, interesting and expressive work sits somewhere between design and art, drawing on their passion for architecture and materials. They have won countless awards and collaborated with prestigious museums worldwide such as the Vitra Museum and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Their exciting range for Hay brings fun and colour to their designs in a unique form.
