Bring contemporary Danish design to your outdoor space with the Fritz Hansen Vind Chair, designed by Kasper Salto.
Inspired by the movement of sails and the maritime landscape surrounding the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, the Vind collection captures a sense of lightness through sculptural forms, clean lines and carefully considered materials.
The Vind Chair combines a streamlined, powder-coated aluminium frame with a handwoven seat made from solution-dyed polyester cord. Its open, armless silhouette creates an elegant, understated profile, while the woven seat introduces texture and flexibility for comfortable everyday seating. Designed with both practicality and style in mind, the Vind outdoor chair is lightweight, easy to move and stackable, making it a versatile choice for gardens, patios, terraces and outdoor dining areas. Its durable materials are selected for outdoor use, balancing functional performance with the refined aesthetic associated with Fritz Hansen's Danish design heritage.
Available in contemporary colour options, the Fritz Hansen Vind Chair works beautifully around an outdoor dining table or alongside other pieces from the Vind collection. Pair it with the matching Vind table or armchair to create a cohesive setting for outdoor dining, relaxed entertaining and everyday moments in the fresh air. Combining sculptural simplicity, modern materials and functional design, the Fritz Hansen VIND Chair is a considered addition to contemporary outdoor living.
