An original design from the Fritz Hansen archive, the Vico Duo Chair was first conceived in 1997, inspired by an loose line drawing, the effortless form of a 'z' scrawled across a piece of paper influenced the chairs unusually striking backwards armrests.
Vico Magistretti was an Italian industrial designer, known as a furniture designer and architect. A collaborator of humanist architect Ernesto Nathan Rogers, one of Magistretti's first projects was the "poetic" round church in the experimental Milan neighborhood of QT8.
