The Fritz Hansen N02-11 Recycle Armchair with Chrome Legs combines contemporary design with a refined metallic finish.
Created by Japanese design studio Nendo, this distinctive chair features a gently curved recycled-plastic shell, integrated armrests and a polished chrome frame that introduces a bright, elegant detail to the overall design.
Designed for modern dining rooms, meeting spaces and professional interiors, the N02-11 offers a considered balance of visual simplicity, comfort and practicality. Its reflective metal base contrasts with the softly contoured seat, making it a versatile choice for a range of interior styles. A subtle crease runs down the backrest, inspired by a folded sheet of paper on Nendo's studio table. This defining detail gives the chair its recognisable appearance while helping support the upper and lower back. The integrated armrests provide additional support and create a more embracing seating position than the armless N02-10 model. The seat shell is manufactured from upcycled household plastic collected and processed in central Europe. The material can be recycled again at the end of its useful life, and the N02 Recycle collection has received the EU Ecolabel.
The chrome-legged version offers a different aesthetic from the powder-coated models. Its polished metal finish works particularly well with contemporary dining tables, glass surfaces and interiors featuring metallic accents. A choice of shell colours allows you to create either a subtle combination or a more contrasting scheme. Practicality is central to the design.
Up to ten chairs can be stacked when not in use, helping save space in dining areas, meeting rooms and hospitality environments. The durable plastic shell is also easy to maintain, making it suitable for frequently used spaces.

Founded in 2002 - Nendo is a Japanese design studio headed by Oki Sato. Their diverse range of designs include furniture, lighting, industrial and interiors. Sato was born in Toronto, Canada and later moved to Tokyo, where he took a M.A. in Architecture at Waseda University. "Nendo" means 'modelling clay' in Japanese - a term perfectly suited to the studio’s sculptural approach to design no matter the material. For their work, Nendo has been awarded with Dezeen, Wallpaper and Red Rot Design Awards among many more throughout the studio's lifetime.
