The original larger Taccia was designed in 1958 and has been produced by Flos since 1962 with its famous large blown glass bowl diffuser. This new 'mini' version features the same proportions as the larger original but has been brought up-to-date with an LED light source.
Achille Castiglioni was an Italian designer of furniture, lighting, radiograms and many other objects. One of the most important designers of the 20th century, Achille Castiglioni produced over 150 iconic products during his career and forged long and fruitful relationships with many Italian manufacturers. His designs for Flos are truly unique and define the term 'design classic'.
