Flos Ray is a striking table light with a distinct metal structural base, available in three different shade finishes. The diffused light the lamp gives off can be controlled by a dimmer switch.
The available finishes are Glass, White metal or Black metal.

Material: Steel tube (10 mm diam.) structure, welded, brushed and chrome-plated. Diffuser support disk in die- cast, polished and chrome-plated Zamak alloy. White injection-moulded PA6 (nylon) lamp cover. Injection-moulded PC (polycarbonate) inner diffuser in 3% opal color. Transparent injection- moulded elastic PVC (polyvinylchloride) feet. Lathe-shaped aluminum diffusers, painted white on the inside, and shiny white or black on the outside or grey-coloured, blown and overlaid glass with glossy external finish.
Architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni was born in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture in 1979. Responsible for the art direction of Artemide (glass lighting collection), Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), Fontana Arte (furniture collection), Foscarini (lamps), Minotti (since 1998) and Roda (since 2006). He designs today for various companies, including: Artemide, Cassina, Dornbracht, Driade, Emu, Ernestomeda, Fiam Italia, Flos, Flou, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Jab, MatteoGrassi, Minotti, Molteni, Moroso, Olivari, Pamar, Roda, RB Rossana, Sambonet, Serralunga, The Rug Company and Venini. His architects practice, Dordoni Architetti, founded in association with architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, develops projects for houses, residential complexes, industrial and commercial areas such as offices, stores and showrooms, restaurants, hotels, yachts, as well as exhibit stands of diverse commercial fields. His designs are pure Italian classics and timeless in their appearance.
