Though it appears strikingly contemporary, this timeless piece has been carefully reintroduced by Carl Hansen & Søn, who meticulously recreated the design by hand-measuring an original vintage model, as no original drawings survived.
At first glance, the BM0121 reflects Mogensen’s signature simplicity, yet closer inspection reveals a refined complexity that speaks to exceptional craftsmanship. The table features a slender 19mm FSC-certified solid oak tabletop, supported discreetly by bent steel profiles for enhanced stability. Gently tapered legs and a subtly curved apron provide both visual lightness and increased legroom, while the extendable design allows seating for up to six guests with an additional insert leaf available in oak or MDF.
