Alfred Homann was born in 1948 and went on to become a multi-award-winning Danish architect and designer. He graduated as an architect from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1976 and after spending some years as a student working with different Danish and American Architects, he founded his own studio in 1978 in Copenhagen. His design ethos was based around simplicity, precision and a product with a clear clarity personified in the beautiful AH range for Carl Hansen.
