The Audo Copenhagen Knitting Chair by Ib Kofod-Larsen first launched as a limited edition in 1951. It has now made a triumphant return under Audo’s concept of “Modernism Re-imagined”.

Ib Kofod-Larsen was a Danish architect and furniture designer who began his design career after gaining an architecture degree from the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. In 1948, he opened his own design studio and along with many other design icons such as Hans J. Wegner, Kaare Klint, Børge Mogensen and Finn Juhl became an important representative of Danish Modernism. He had lots of international success in the 1950's and became one of the most successful and best-selling designers in Europe and America.
