The Normann Copenhagen Burra Lounge Chair takes its name from the Italian cheese - burrata. Like this Italian delicacy, Simon Legald's Burra Lounge Chair is round, inviting and deliciously soft with a swivel mechanism to add to the character.

Material: Frame in steel and a mix of soft and hard moulded foam. Upholstered in Camira Yoredale UDA06 Thoralby (95% Wool, 3% Polyester, 2% Polyamide), Kvadrat Hallingdal Colour 110 ( 70% new wool 30% viscose) or Kvadrat Zero 0011 (65% cotton 20% polyacrylic 15% polyester) fabric (please contact us if you need samples). The Yoredale and Zero Chairs come with a swivel return system, the Hallingdal version has no return mechanism.

Designed By

Simon Legald graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in the summer of 2012. His work consists of both small and large scale products. Simon’s designs are often created in a dialogue between craftsmanship and industry. He also likes to incorporate the techniques that are necessary for the structure of a product into the design by highlighting them visually.
