Skagerak by Fritz Hansen Selandia Dining Table Rectangle

Anders & Lars Hegelund
Combining traditional craftsmanship with elegant Nordic design, the Selandia Rectangular Dining Table by Skagerak by Fritz Hansen brings timeless character to outdoor dining.
Designed by Anders and Lars Hegelund, its graceful curves, beautifully proportioned frame and distinctive crossover legs create a refined silhouette that feels equally at home in a country garden, on a sunlit terrace or within a contemporary outdoor space.
Crafted from solid, FSC-certified teak, the Selandia table celebrates the natural beauty of the material. Left untreated, the teak develops a soft silver-grey patina as it weathers, giving the table an evolving character that becomes more distinctive over time. Its slatted tabletop offers a practical, considered finish, while the gently curved legs lend the design a sense of lightness and understated sophistication.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the rectangular tabletop can be extended with one or two additional leaves, making it easy to accommodate everything from relaxed family lunches to larger outdoor gatherings. A discreet central opening allows for a parasol, with a beautifully finished brass cover concealing the opening when it is not in use.
Despite its elegant appearance, the Selandia is made for everyday outdoor living. Its folding design allows the table to be stored more conveniently when required, offering a thoughtful balance of functionality and timeless style. Whether paired with the matching Selandia Dining Chairs or mixed with other outdoor seating, this versatile table creates an inviting setting for long lunches, summer evenings and memorable occasions shared outdoors.
Rooted in Scandinavian design principles, the Selandia Rectangular Dining Table brings together natural materials, intelligent functionality and enduring craftsmanship in a piece designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
