Flos Kelvin LED's simple, compact shape and angular body has 30 LEDs combined with a special chemically-etched diffuser to provide a soft light with no dazzling. A special optical sensor positioned on the top of the light's head is used to switch the lamp on/off and to adjust the brightness.

Antonio Citterio was born in the Italian city of Meda in 1950. He opened his own studio in 1972 and completed his degree in architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1975. He has created some modern masterpieces with companies such as Kartell, Vitra, Flos and many more. In his long career he has been awarded numerous awards, including the Compasso d'Oro in 1987 and 1995. He was named 'Royal Designer for Industry' by the London-based Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce in 2008.
