The differences between the Muuto Connect Soft Modular Sofa and the existing Connect Modular Sofa are the deeper seat and lower back, for the extra, home-like comfort it brings. The fabric is less tightly wrapped around the sofa structure so that it will wear in and softly wrinkle over the softest areas over time.

The Connect Modular Sofa brings a new, modern perspective because you can specify your exact aesthetic and spacial needs. 

Both sofas are designed with long, elegant lines, with small feet underneath the main frame that give a hovering, light sentiment. The modular sofa is ideal for modern comfort in any home, hospitality or lounge setting.

The sofa is designed by Norwegian design partnership Anderssen & Voll, based in Oslo. They have been awarded both Norwegian and Scandinavian Designers of the year and have received international awards across their work in furniture, lighting and home accessories.

They believe:

“ A good product builds and expands on tradition while simultaneously breaking the rules of said tradition. Modifications and elements of surprise, even changes that are less radical, stimulate thought and reflection, also who may not hold a particular interest in design. This tiny second of reflection is the window of opportunity where we can communicate with the users and that’s what we strive to tap into.”

They have collaborated with Muuto on a number of successful products and have a shared vision of what Scandinavian design means today; both believe in celebrating the well-known history of design in the region but also have an ambition to keep it fresh and relevant with innovative fabrics, technology and design to lead into the future.
