Sōri Yanagi was a Japanese product designer. He played a role in Japanese modern design developed after World War II to the high-growth period in the Japanese economy. Born in 1915 in Tokyo he attended art school in the city and worked from 1940 to 1942 in the office of the designer Charlotte Perriand.
