Designed by Stefan Diez, the HAY New Order Shelving System Combination 502 is a contemporary storage solution that combines architectural simplicity with intelligent organisation.
Its structured framework creates a balanced arrangement of display shelving and enclosed storage, offering a practical way to keep interiors organised while providing space to showcase books, personal collections and decorative objects.
Constructed from powder-coated aluminium, the New Order system is defined by its lightweight appearance, clean lines and industrial-inspired detailing. Combination 502 features six levels of shelving, incorporating integrated steel doors and panels that introduce enclosed compartments alongside the open shelving areas. This contrast allows everyday belongings to be stored discreetly while keeping frequently used items and favourite accessories within easy reach.
Designed to complement both residential and professional environments, this versatile HAY shelving unit works particularly well in living rooms, home offices, studios and commercial interiors. Its modular design also forms part of the wider New Order collection, which offers extensive possibilities for adapting storage arrangements through interchangeable shelves, panels, doors, trays and drawers. B
alancing functionality with a distinctive architectural aesthetic, the HAY New Order Combination 502 provides a considered approach to modern shelving and storage, bringing flexibility and contemporary design to a variety of spaces.
