This is a stool version of the award winning (Good Design Award 2010) Masters Chair designed by Philippe Starck. The legs have been extended and the seat made smaller, but the original chair's individual look remains the same.
Philippe Starck is one of the best-known contemporary designers in the world. He has not only received public acclaim for his amazing building interior designs but has also proved to be an accomplished architect and product designer. His Masters chair for Kartell is a powerful tribute to three of the design world's most iconic chair's. Starck in his unique way has managed to amalgamate the 3 chairs - Series 7 Chair by Arne Jacobsen, the Tulip Armchair by Eero Saarinen and the DSR Chair by Charles and Ray Eames to produce a masterful design.
