To celebrate its 50th year, the Parentesi suspension light is re-imagined in new colours, signal orange and turquoise, both of which are a tribute to the original creators, Achille Castiglioni, an iconic lighting/furniture designer and Pio Manzù, an inventor who designed the renowned FIAT 127 car. The Parentesi was designed after Castiglioni saw some of Manzù's drawings, following his untimely death in 1969.
Achille Castiglioni was an Italian designer of furniture, lighting, radiograms and many other objects. His designs for Flos are truly unique and define the term design classic.
