The Cigar Crisscross introduces a more decorative interpretation of the original Cigar design, distinguished by its intricate framework and elongated proportions.

The shade is formed around a lightweight steel wire structure, covered in a specially developed translucent polymer webbing. What sets the Crisscross version apart is the additional intersecting framework beneath the surface, creating a more pronounced geometric pattern that gives the pendant greater visual depth. This intricate construction is particularly noticeable when viewed from different angles, adding interest without overwhelming the surrounding interior.

Despite its detailed appearance, the shade retains a light and understated quality. The translucent polymer allows illumination to filter evenly through the surface, producing a soft, ambient glow that helps create a relaxed atmosphere. Its elongated profile makes it especially effective when suspended above dining tables, kitchen islands and seating areas, where its vertical proportions can be appreciated. The brushed and nickel-plated metal detailing provides a subtle contrast to the off-white shade, completing the design with a refined finish.

Available in two sizes, the HAY Nelson Cigar Crisscross offers flexibility for different room proportions and ceiling heights. It can be displayed as a standalone pendant or combined with other designs from the Nelson Bubble collection to create a coordinated lighting arrangement with contrasting shapes and dimensions.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0046/7723/8818/products/modernica_bubble_criss_cross_cigar_62_05484614-f771-4ca0-840e-5964cc1e3525.jpg?v=1607425662
